Well, as promised I worked hard on the pictures the last couple of days and here are some of my favorites. Duane still has a few of mine, so a few more may be forthcoming. Anyway, I hope you enjoy – you can see them all on my zooomr account if you are interested. I also have some neat pictures of the lightning storm that ripped through most of Southern Alberta the other night that I should be able to post in the next couple of days here…
We had to get up at 3:30 in the morning for this view. Somebody tell me that it was worth it…

It seemed like all of the islands that we camped on had swings.

Many eagles were found. Apparently, the eagles in the Broughton Archipelago have stopped hunting for themselves and simply scavenge the beaches for things washed up in the tide.

Leah hard at work…

The harbour in Echo Bay. The entire town is built on floating docks which was kind of neat.

The view on the last evening. We were especially enjoying this because earlier in the day we had successfully navigated the strong currents of the Blackney passage and the many whirlpools that awaited us if we got carried away in it (seriously folks!).

Leah’s especially attractive look at the end. Notice the salt stains on her hat. She claims that her shorts had enough salt in them that she could make them stand on their own. I don’t think that is natural…
