I had been looking forward to July the 28th for a long time. True, it marked a significant step forward for our business, but it also marked a pretty significant day for some pretty neat people. We’ve watched Lowell and Julie together for the past few years, and they are just some of those people that make others around them better. They have that rare ability to make every person that they talk to feel like the most important person in the world.
The wedding itself was just about perfect! Lowell and Julie were both completely relaxed throughout the day, willing to indulge Duane and I whenever we asked for pictures or more poses.

I was really excited when this older gentlemen agreed to let us pose some shots with his car. He even let the guys all climb inside!

Our good friend, Troy gave the message – and he did a pretty bang up job I must say!

There was a really neat moment in the ceremony , Julie had secretly arranged for Steve Larsen to perform one of Lowell’s favorite songs. Right after they had signed the registry he came up and performed ‘Footsteps’. He graciously agreed to let us use the song for the slideshow above. If you have the chance to check out his music, I would highly recommend it!

So this is totally a Lowell and Julie thing to do! Marc (Julie’s brother) and his wife Kylie, couldn’t make the wedding, because they are currently in Africa, where Marc is a doctor. So in order to include them in the day, Lowell and Julie shipped them the clothes that the wedding party was going to be wearing, had them take a picture in them and then made life-sized cardboard cutouts. They were the best guest book attendants that I had ever seen!

If you know Julie at all, you know that she has highly communicative facial expressions. As my wife says, ‘I can just look at the pictures and know exactly what she is saying!’ These pictures are classic Julie.

I think this is my favorite shot of the day… I just love the intensity of Lowell’s expression!

Travis and his wife Lisa were the masters of ceremony at the reception and did a fantastic job. They even brought audience prompts and a Vaudeville hook for those guests that wanted to stay too long at the open mike!

Which isn’t to say that anyone stayed too long! There were so many talented skits and songs and videos to take in.
