Okay, okay – full warning here. I just couldn’t choose. So there might be quite a few images in this post… like more than twenty. Planning a February wedding in the heart of Kananaskis country can be a risky proposition. But when you wake up to a blue-bird day and the temperature hovering just above the freezing mark then you know that you have been blessed. So we took full advantage of that blessing and snapped away! I had to laugh though, Frank is originally from Nigeria so it takes a lot more than +6 for him to feel toasty.

We guys have no clue of how easy we have it. It takes us a grand total of twenty minutes to get ready for the biggest day of our lives and then we’re done. And even then we still require a whole lot of assistance.

The church out at the Rafter Six lodge can only be described as stunning. Gorgeous wood paneling, cathedral ceilings and lots of natural light. Can you tell that this is a photographer’s dream venue?

I like this shot for two reasons. The first and most obvious is that it is a nice portrait of Jen. The second though is the blurry yellow blobs down in the left corner. Those would be surfers. In Kananaskis on February 23. I think they might have missed the memo that it is still winter. We told Frank that this is a standard Canadian rite of passage. He seemed nervous.

Does anybody else think that Frank knows that he has a good thing going?

I love the contrast in these next two images. Notice two things in this shot. One – the number of participants. Two – the enthusiasm. We’ll call this exhibit A.

Exhibit B. Yeah, she threw a pretty devastating hip-check to get those flowers. Enough said.
