I think I was starting to get used to only doing one shoot every week or so.  This weekend was a reminder of our past summer with three shoots in three days.  We started out with Stefanie & Dennon’s wedding on Saturday (stay tuned for pictures from that tomorrow), a portrait session with Katie & Grant on Sunday, and a family portrait session on Monday!

We first met Katie & Grant at Carolyn & Jordan’s wedding this summer and were really excited to head out with them on Sunday.  If you were in Calgary this weekend you’ll know that the weather was just spectacular for the start of December!  Whispy clouds in the sky and pretty warm for this time of year.  That said, we were both wearing our winter coats and gloves while Grant was strolling around with just a sweater.

We spent a while wandering around Renfrew and Bridgeland snapping pictures and soaking up the sun!

There was some pretty stellar light to play with!

I think this one is my favourite from the afternoon.  That’s the look of a guy who knows he’s got it good!

I’ll end with a funny one.  I don’t remember the dogs name but when I look at this picture one of two captions comes to mind.  Either he’s thinking, “Uh-oh, I did something wrong” or, “Ugh…Why does he keep taking my picture?”
