Saw Alice in Wonderland last night in 3D. That part was cool but the movie was underwhelming. Does anyone else feel the same way? #2010/03/08 | Follow us

Today we get to unveil something that we’ve had in the works for nearly a year now! Last June, we had our good friend Lowell Taylor come along with his video camera at Zoe and Quinn’s amazing wedding, to film us as we covered their engagement session and wedding. From that footage, we’ve been working towards creating something that showcases how we work and what a [6:8] Photography experience looks like!
Not to make this an Oscar speech, but with something that requires this much time and energy a few thank-yous are in order. We are so appreciative of all the energy and creativity that Lowell has poured into this project. We are also very grateful to his wife Julie for allowing him to work on the project while they are in New Zealand on a working holiday! A big thanks to Steve Larsen for allowing us to use music from his new album, Linear, in this project. I highly recommend checking out his work and supporting him (his album is available on itunes!), he is a phenomenal talent! (For all those in the Fernie area he will actually be playing a show here on April 19th – contact me for details!) And finally – a huge thanks to Zoe and Quinn (this one is a link to their blog), not only did they allow Lowell to come along on their big day but also invited Lowell out to their place in Victoria to do the follow-up interview.
We feel very privileged to be able to count all of these fine people not only as former clients, but more importantly, as good friends.
Alright, enough talking already! Onto the video! There is also a 17 minute version available if you are interested. If you want to see it, just send me an e-mail and I will fire you off the link!
