It was a busy, busy weekend with two weddings! We started things off with Charmaine and Colin up near Edmonton at a little resort called Shalom Park which is right in the North Saskatchewan River valley.
Funny moment in the morning…. I guess the grounds had to be prepared for the impending arrival of all the guests…
Understanding what women want or pinning a boutineer; I am not sure which is harder for your typical 24 year old male.
Colin and his mom share a moment just before the ceremony.
Part way through the ceremony there was a break and I wandered outside to grab some shots of the kids playing on the lawn. This next image of Charmaine and Colin’s son makes me laugh every time I see it. I included a ‘before’ shot just so you can fully appreciate the contrast!
Grandpa enjoying a moment with his grand-daughter on the deck just before the dance started!
And we’re finally back to that time of year; where we can steal our clients away from the reception for a few minutes for portraits in the late evening light! I love shooting at this time!
The sky was very cool in its own right, so we both grabbed a couple of ambient shots.
Charmaine and Colin – thank-you so much for including us; we had a great time hanging out with you! Enjoy the Dominican!
