Well, you can certainly see that it is coming. The colours are slightly faded now, and while not fully transitioned it is pretty hard to ignore the fact that we are fast leaving the heights of summer behind us. This was definitely evident in the prairies this weekend as we drove up and noticed the combines hard at work in the fields. We’ve coped with this the same way that we always do; start surfing YouTube for ski movies! Forget this transition stuff, let’s get right to January! Well, almost anyway; this past weekend, summer held on in style for Ashlee and Bryan. A beautiful day near Red Deer, and since they had an early reception and a delayed flight out of Calgary that night (three big cheers for Air Canada – thbbppp) we decided to take our time and travel some of the range roads back south. Now there is a luxury that we are not used to – it was great fun! All the best to you guys as you start out on this new path! Update! I almost forgot. Check out the picture of Bryan and his best man engaging in some aerobatics. 5th picture down from the top! Delicious early morning light! Ashlee just before entering the church. Bryan’s parents watching the ceremony. Duane going to great lengths to get the shot. Bryan was too nice to close the hood on him…
